• Install carpets on various surfaces, ensuring proper alignment, stretching, and secure fastening using hand tools and power tools
• Bind carpet edges meticulously to create durable, professional-looking borders and seams
• Read blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to execute projects precisely
• Use caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation skills to finish edges and transitions smoothly
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites

Qualifications

• Proven experience in flooring installation, carpet binding, or related construction work
• Proficiency with hand tools such as cutters, seam rollers, staple guns, and power tools used in flooring projects
• Familiarity with tile laying, cabinet installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and restoration industry practices is a plus
• Must have a Carpet Binding Machine in order to complete the work.

Pay: $27.18 - $32.73 per hour

Work Location: In person
