Carrier Relations Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our trucking operations team as a Driver Recruiter & Carrier Relations Specialist.

This position requires someone with strong communication skills, persistence, and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate must be comfortable recruiting drivers, building relationships with brokers and carriers, resolving operational issues, and helping keep trucks loaded and moving efficiently.

We are looking for someone who does not give up easily. If a broker stops giving loads, this person must follow up, negotiate, and work to recover the relationship and opportunities. At the same time, this role also involves actively searching for and recruiting qualified drivers and owner operators to help grow the company.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit and onboard CDL drivers and owner operators

• Make outbound calls to drivers, brokers, and carriers daily

• Build and maintain strong broker and carrier relationships

• Resolve load, service, and operational issues quickly and professionally

• Follow up aggressively on freight opportunities and driver leads

• Help keep trucks loaded and operations running smoothly

• Negotiate and communicate effectively with brokers and drivers

• Work closely with dispatch and operations teams

Requirements:

• Experience in trucking, logistics, dispatch, recruiting, or carrier sales

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Persistent and solution-oriented personality

• Strong follow-up and organizational skills

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Pay: $29,627.38 - $49,766.31 per year
