Carrier Sales and Logistics Dispatcher

We are currently seeking a Carrier Sales and Logistics Dispatcher to join our team. This position plays a critical role in managing vehicle transportation routes across multiple states while also assisting our brokerage team in optimizing logistics data for greater operational efficiency.
Position Overview:
The Sales and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing transportation routes, coordinating logistics, and working closely with the brokerage team to streamline operations. This hybrid role blends sales, customer service, and data optimization skills to drive performance across transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of routes, customer interactions, and transportation metrics.
Prepare and present reports on route efficiency, sales performance, and customer satisfaction to management.
Ensuring On-Time-Percentage (OTP) is always optimized by increasing visibility for brokerage team.
Detailed reporting of MaxOffer freight and brokerage late units.
Route Management:
Oversee and optimize vehicle transportation routes covering multiple states to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
Managing/owning the late report to ensure all lates are visible and called out to the carrier facing team, making sure the brokerage portion is notated.
Sales & Customer Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their transportation needs are met with professionalism and attention to detail.
Partnering with the carrier facing team to find filler freight/backhauls
Prospecting all potential avenues for new business, including making cold calls.
Brokerage Support:
Assist the brokerage team by analyzing and optimizing logistics data, including carrier performance, route data, and cost analysis.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to improve operational efficiency.
Notating “problem lanes” that we are currently running at loss to find optimal price needed to run freight for breaking even/profit.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales, logistics, or transportation management, ideally in the vehicle transportation or freight brokerage industry.
Strong understanding of transportation route optimization and logistics data analysis.
Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships, with a customer-first mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with logistics software and data management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience with CRM tools and/or transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.
Benefits:
Base salary of $45,000.
Additional Commission based pay with uncapped earning potential ($60-$100,000+)
