Family Skills Training Specialist (Master Level)/Children's Care Specialist (aka) Case Management

Montcalm Care Network is seeking a master level clinician with experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or developmental disabilities and their families. Work in an organization that supports professional growth, values team-based interventions and provides trauma-informed care. The role is split evenly, with 50% of time dedicated to Family Skills Training Specialist duties and 50% to Case Manager responsibilities.
Family Skills Training Specialist provides parenting skills training on a group and individual basis. Skills training focuses on evidenced based parenting strategies, teach parents emotion regulation skills, and developing positive support plans to address child behaviors. Services may be provided in a home or community setting. Experience in evidence-based practices such as Trauma Informed Parenting or Parenting Through Change a plus.
Case Managers provide community-based outreach to persons with mental illness and are responsible for linking, coordinating, monitoring and psychoeducation. Our case management model utilizes a team approach with nurses, peer supports, and paraprofessional staff providing comprehensive care. This children’s case management position will provide integrated care management services to children with serious emotional disturbances, developmental disabilities, and/or autism, and their families.

Student Loan Repayment: MCN is an approved National Health Service site (NHSC, a loan repayment program); in addition to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), and MDHHS Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program (BHLRP).

Education:
· Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with limited or full licensure.
License/Certification:
· Professional Licensure required: Limited or full license in the State of Michigan (LLMSW or similar)
· Possession of a valid State of Michigan driver's license (and ability to obtain chauffeur's license)
