Role Description

The Case Manager is responsible for owning the client journey from application to implementation, ensuring every case is processed accurately, efficiently, and without delays. This role acts as the central point of coordination between advisors, clients, and carriers - keeping everyone aligned, informed, and moving forward. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and urgency. This role is a critical driver of client experience and operational success. You’ll manage documentation, track case progress, communicate updates, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. This role also assists with our seminars, checking in and scheduling new clients 2 - 4 times per month.

You will be required to obtain a Michigan Life & Health Insurance License (if you do not already have one), the training course and 1st attempt of the exam will be provided by the company for you.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or client service roles
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills to manage calls and interact professionally with clients and team members
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client outreach and internal coordination
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and communication tools; familiarity with platforms like Rise, MyRepChat, or similar software is a plus
  • Proficiency in common office software and technology, including Google Business Suite
  • Experience in the finance or insurance industry a plus
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; additional certifications or education is a plus

Schedule

This is a full‑time position with standard office hours between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 2 - 4 times a month, evening hours are required and you would have those mornings off. This usually looks like a 12 PM - 8 PM work day.

This position does require some traveling for seminars in the evenings. We service the Greater Grand Rapids & Western Michigan areas. Travel typically is 1 hour or less one way. We do have a mileage reimbursement policy.

Compensation

This is a salaried position with an annual compensation range of $41,600 to $49,900, commensurate with experience.
