Case Manager

OCS is currently seeking an experienced Case Manager to serve Lansing, Jackson, Coldwater and the surrounding areas.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, as the Case Manager may occasionally be asked to assist with translation for other team members across the state.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. They should have a minimum of two years of clinical experience and at least two years of case management experience in the private sector. Certification as a Certified Case Manager (CCM) is preferred.

Job Requirements

• Current licensure in the State of Michigan, as required by law
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in ICU, ER, or Home Health settings
• Willingness to travel within the designated service area
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, as well as effectively communicate with clients, families, external agencies, and the general public
• Solid understanding of medical practices and procedures, including applicable state and federal regulations related to Workers' Compensation, Auto No-Fault, and Disability Insurance
• Ability to interpret and implement OCS’s programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to ensure delivery of high-quality care
• Must maintain a functional home office setup
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word
