Case Manager

Human Behavior Institute is a behavioral health organization servicing the Las Vegas community for over 15 years. We are looking for an experienced Case Manager registered with NV Medicaid as a Quality Mental Health Associate (QMHA) for our Adult clients. Must be knowledgable with the underserved population (homeless and addiction). Our clients depend on their Case Managers to help them through trying times.

Candidate must have the supervisory background to oversee the case managers in the department. To ensure polices are followed in a professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related mental health field.

1 to 2 years of experience including working with children and families; experience working with children and families in community-based programs

Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check. Must have the ability to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete travel requirements of the job. Must meet auto insurance requirements established by State and Local laws.

Must be available to work non-traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Individuals in this position must have experience in: social work, family advocacy, wrap-around services, foster care, case planning, case management, mental health, psychology, sociology, human services, CASA, social services, criminal justice, criminology, and education.

SUMMARY

Case Management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation and advocacy for options and services to meet an individual’s and family’s comprehensive health needs through communication and available resources to promote patient safety, quality of care, and cost-effective outcomes
