Position Overview:
The Case Manager provides trauma-informed support and advocacy to shelter residents impacted by domestic violence. This role is responsible for assisting residents with safety planning, individualized goal setting, housing and employment resources, crisis intervention, transportation, and ongoing case management support. The Case Manager also maintains accurate documentation, coordinates supportive services, and helps residents work toward stability, independence, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide trauma-informed case management and advocacy services to shelter residents
• Conduct safety planning and ongoing assessments for residents
• Assist residents with individualized goals related to housing, employment, budgeting, and stability
• Coordinate supportive services and referrals, including counseling appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CaseWorthy
• Complete resident intakes, exits, and follow-up services
• Monitor resident progress and provide daily support
• Provide transportation assistance to appointments and safe locations as needed
• Respond to crisis hotline calls and provide advocacy and support
• Maintain updated community resources for residents and families

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Experience in human services, crisis work, or advocacy a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and background check, required.

Compensation: $18/hour + benefits.

Job Type: Full-time
