Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing case management and supportive services to clients and/or their families to promote self-sufficiency. Advocates for clients regarding financial assistance, state/federal benefits, housing, education, childcare, skill testing and development programs, job training, job referral and/or treatment programs.
Works independently and consistently exercises discretion and sound judgment in monitoring and evaluating client progress. Meets with each client as required by the program and/or based on client needs. Ensures up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by CCAC and external entities.
Assists the House of Peace Site Director with the overall operations of House of Peace including intakes and on call responsibilities. Responsible for ensuring that the cleaning and maintenance of the facility are performed in an efficient, prompt, professional and accurate manner and provides guidance, when necessary.
Must maintain a flexible work schedule to work evening hours, weekends and/or special events, as needed.
Handles a wide array of administrative tasks to ensure compliance with agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies while performing job expectations. Participates in community outreach efforts and collaborates with other professionals in assisting the client in meeting the goals of the service plan.
Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred:
Bilingual (written and verbal) in Spanish
Ability to engage and work with clients in the local community
Adept in technology and data entry
Ability to monitor and measure progress against goals

Education and Experience:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience: Entry Level
Preferred Experience: 1-2 years relevant experience
Certification and Licensure:
Minimum: Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months of hire.
Preferred: Illinois Certified Domestic Violence Professional Certification
Physical Requirements:
Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day.
Push and pull objects up to 30 pounds.
Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time.
Lift up to 30 pounds.
