This position will be responsible for conducting quarterly assessments of the facility’s living environment including the facility, atmosphere, consumer satisfaction, consumer rights, and status of improvements made on previous assessments. Assisting management with the job of ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures and State/Federal Regulations related to program, health care and safety of consumers. Completing and submitting requested information and reports within the time-frames given, assisting in establishing and maintaining Medicaid, SSI, SSA and other benefits for which the consumer is eligible, assisting in ensuring appropriate use of resident funds per company policy and State/Federal regulations and reports the resident’s financial status to family/guardian on a quarterly basis. Conducting in-service training to facility staff as required, providing for appropriate admission and discharge planning for consumers. Following all of the essential duties and responsibilities as indicated in the job description for this position.
High School Diploma/G.E.D., Two year’s experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity is preferred. Must be able to effectively communicate (read, write and understand English). Must be at least 19 years of age and possess a driver’s license along with a good driving record and criminal history.
