About Us

Tree House Recovery is a substance use disorder treatment program dedicated to helping individuals build sustainable recovery through evidence-based treatment, physical empowerment, and community support. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Case Manager / Intake Coordinator to support clients throughout their treatment journey.

Position Summary

The Case Manager / Intake Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for clients from admission through discharge. This position coordinates the intake process, supports case management services, assists clients with accessing resources, and works closely with the clinical team to ensure a positive treatment experience.

Responsibilities

Intake & Admissions

• Coordinate client admissions and enrollment processes.
• Complete intake documentation, releases, and required forms.
• Schedule assessments, interviews, and intake appointments.
• Assist clients and families throughout the admissions process.
• Coordinate housing intake logistics and transportation as needed.

Case Management

• Assist clients with accessing medical, legal, housing, vocational, and community resources.
• Coordinate appointments and service referrals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination.
• Transport clients to approved treatment-related appointments using company vehicles.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
• Complete required data collection and assessments.
• Collect and document drug and alcohol screening specimens.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and company policies.

Program Support

• Assist with structured groups and client activities.
• Support special events and treatment programming.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational staff to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, case management, or related human services.
• Active RAD-T registration (or ability to obtain prior to employment if permitted).
• Commitment to pursuing CADC certification.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Experience with client admissions and intake coordination.
• Experience with EHR/EMR systems.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
