We are a busy plaintiff personal injury law firm committed to delivering excellent results and exceptional client care. We are seeking a proactive Legal Assistant / Case Manager to manage cases from intake through settlement and assist attorneys with litigation support.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for someone with prior personal injury or litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client communication, and can manage a high-volume caseload with strong attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide clients with direct and up-to-date case information and consistent case updates
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters
- Manage cases from intake through resolution
- Request and follow up on medical records, bills, liens, and other case documents
- Draft and assist with settlement packages and demand letters
- Schedule attorney-client calls, depositions, mediations, and other case tasks
- Maintain calendaring for court hearings, depositions, and litigation deadlines
- Maintain and organize case files in document management systems
- Assist attorneys with litigation preparation and additional administrative/secretarial tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Case Manager, or similar role (personal injury preferred)
- Experience handling pre-litigation and/or litigation matters strongly preferred
- Proficiency with document management systems and legal software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and a high-volume caseload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with California litigation procedures is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
