YWCA exists to eliminate racism and empower women. Since 1850, YWCA associations around the country have empowered women to lead their communities in social change. The San Antonio chapter, established in 1910, has provided support for women and girls to become economically self-sufficient while working on the front lines to promote racial justice. The core programming of the YWCA San Antonio has evolved over its 110-year history, and today the organization serves nearly 10,000 clients through programs focused on women’s economic empowerment, health and wellness, youth and teens, and racial justice.
About the Position
The YWCA Ready to Work Program is designed to promote economic recovery by increasing access to education, training, and wraparound services for San Antonio residents and by aligning training with the talent requirements of local businesses. The YWCA Ready to Work Case Manager will assist with the recruitment of clients, as well as the intake, initial assessment, and case management services. All services provided will be done using a trauma informed and racial justice/gender equity lens. The YWCA Ready to Work Case Manager is a grant-funded, full-time position. Ready to Work Case Managers will report directly to the Ready to Work Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
Position Requirements
● Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University in counseling/social work or other related field preferred.
● One year of work experience providing direct services to disconnected adults or assisting adults with work placement.
● Able to handle confidential information.
● Reliable transportation
● Current Vehicle Insurance
● Ability to pass a criminal history check to include a national fingerprint check
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
● Excellent written and verbal skills
● Bilingual preferred
Current Driver Licence

●Willingness to follow CDC guidelines regarding vaccination.
