Make a meaningful impact by helping newly arrived refugees build safe, stable, and successful lives in Detroit. We’re seeking a compassionate, organized Case Manager to provide hands-on support from arrival through resettlement.
- Coordinate pre‑arrival planning, housing setup, and communication with U.S. Ties.
- Welcome clients at the airport and provide home safety orientations.
- Assist with Social Security, public benefits, registrations, and resettlement plans.
- Deliver cultural orientation and maintain case documentation and reports.
- Manage client funds, schedule appointments, and provide transportation as needed.
- Bachelor’s in social work, psychology, public health, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year working in diverse or community‑based environments.
- Bilingual in Dari, Spanish, or Pashto strongly preferred.
- Compassionate, culturally sensitive, and highly organized.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
