Case Manager Supervisor - Family Shelter

A community services organization in New York City is seeking a new Case Manager Supervisor at a transitional residence center in Brooklyn, overseeing a caseload of homeless families and supervising staff while maintaining program goals.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (with some holidays possible)

• Hours: 9am to 5pm (1pm to 9pm on Thursdays; 37 hours a week)

• Setting: Transitional residence housing

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining professional client relationships and confidentiality

• Communicating effectively with staff and funders

• Coaching and counseling staff to improve performance

• Conducting chart audits and reviewing service plans

• Facilitating administrative meetings and providing reports

• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 2 years of applicable experience

• High School Diploma / GED

• First Aid/CPR certified

• Experience in a Shelter and/or similar setting

• Experience with Mentally Ill and Substance-Abusing populations

• Strong communication skills

• Problem-solving abilities

• Supervisory and team management experience

Desired Qualifications:

• College Degree

• Bilingual (any language)

• Experience in Family Services and/or Social Work
