Position Details
Provides case management and direct support to program participants to achieve project outcomes, including independent living skills coaching, budgeting support, goal planning, resource coordination, and facilitating family reunification sessions with youth and their parent(s)/guardian(s). Collaborates with the Kent County Youth Action Board on recruitment, service delivery strategies, and host engagement and retention. Maintains weekly communication with youth, advocates for and represents youth interests in program meetings and disputes, communicates youth needs and preferences to hosts, families, and program staff, and supports youth participation in family reunification efforts.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field
Demonstrated experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
Standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility encouraged to accommodate client needs
