Position Project SAVE Case Manager/Victim’s Advocate
Reports to Classification Project SAVE Program Supervisor Union: Non-Exempt

This position is a role designed to deliver victim advocacy and case management services to clients within Project SAVE, offering safety and technical assistance and resources to the community, healthcare providers, clients and their families.
- Conduct proactive outreach services to adults, youth, and families regarding victimization and safety measures as well as provide referrals for available services and resources.
- Conduct field outreach in the community which includes but is not limited to home visits, school based visits, community advocacy / partnership meetings.
- Provide follow up and case management services to assist with: reduction in victimization, increased level of functioning, improved capacity for independence, reduction in level of isolation.
- Assist in obtaining Office of Victim Services compensation.
- Provide criminal justice and/or campus based judiciary advocacy as well as personal advocacy.
- Demonstrate trauma informed and victim sensitivity competencies.
- Provide coverage for agency as needed.
- Conduct drug screenings consistently with agency policy and procedure.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reports within required deadlines.
- Responsible for achieving program required outcome measures.
- Perform accurate data collection and reporting.
- Coordinate involvement and education of families and/other natural supports.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, seminars as requested by supervisor, or as needed for professional development, or as required for accreditation or licensing.
- Adhere to Agency policies and procedures, including ongoing compliance with accreditation standards.
- Must comply with all required contractual and agency data entry and reporting.

Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment and community based settings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires the use and operation of an automobile on a routine basis.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Ability to frequently walk, including stairs and other areas in community based settings. Ability to drive in the day and night time.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field from an accredited university
- Demonstrated skills in working with clients from various backgrounds and embraces HBH’s mission.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including after regular business hours and weekends, including being on-call during specified timeframes for emergencies.
- One year victim advocacy and/or case management experience
- Must have a reliable vehicle to provide community and in-home services, and active driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
