Position Overview

We are seeking an Entry-Level Claims Handler to assist with opening insurance claims and setting up new case files. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the legal field. No prior legal experience is required — training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Call insurance companies to open new claims
• Send Letters of Representation to insurance carriers
• Collect and document claim details (claim numbers, adjuster info, policy details)
• Enter and maintain accurate case information in case management system
• Upload and organize documents in the firm’s systems
• Follow up with insurance companies as needed
• Assist with general administrative tasks related to case setup

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Comfortable speaking on the phone
• Basic computer skills (email, data entry, file organization)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• Interest in legal, insurance, or administrative careers
• Prior customer service or office experience

• Claims are opened accurately and on time
• Case files are complete and well-organized
• Information is entered correctly with minimal errors
• Follow-ups are handled promptly

Schedule

Monday–Friday, standard business hours (in-office)
