Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive {title} to provide direct support to a senior attorney. This role focuses on maintaining organized workflows, managing day-to-day administrative needs, and assisting with litigation-related tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable balancing multiple priorities, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

Calendar & Email Management

  • Maintain the attorney’s calendar, deadlines, court dates, and reminders.
  • Monitor and organize email inboxes; flag priority items and ensure timely follow-up

Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Assist with scanning, organizing, and maintaining digital and physical files
  • Track case expenses, invoices, and related documentation
  • Handle time entry/case management entries and assist with billing-related tasks

Litigation & Drafting Support

  • Prepare and format basic legal documents, including discovery responses, interrogatories, and correspondence
  • Assist with online court filings (e-filing)
  • Support general case management needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Prior experience in a law firm or legal administrative role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common legal software; ability to learn firm systems quickly
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort drafting routine legal documents
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
