Case Worker

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The Case Worker will be responsible for providing support and assistance to children in need, particularly in the areas of child welfare.

Qualified candidates will provide social casework services to abused and neglected children and their families. Complete assessments and/or investigations of reports of abuse or neglect of children to determine risk. Work with family to ensure safety. Work closely with courts, schools, mental health, and various community agencies to coordinate and provide intervention services for families. Perform paid emergency duty services on a rotating basis.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in child protective services, social work, or related fields.
• Familiarity with child welfare policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
• Prefer candidates who have completed Core training of the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program.
• ON-CALL rotating shifts required
• Must hold a valid Ohio driver’s license and maintain automobile liability insurance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to relate to individuals from various social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and criminal background checks.

Pay: $19.13 - $24.17 per hour
