Role Overview
We are seeking a Cash Office In-Charge to manage daily cash office operations, ensure accurate reconciliation, and maintain compliance with company financial controls and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash collection, counting, and reconciliation
- Reconcile POS sales with cash, card, and digital payment reports
- Monitor shortages/overages and report discrepancies
- Prepare daily cash, sales, and variance reports
- Ensure safe custody of cash, petty cash, and documents
- Coordinate with banks for cash deposits
- Supervise cash office staff and support cashiers
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Required Skills
- Strong cash handling and POS reconciliation knowledge
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good reporting and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and coordination skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field preferred
- 3–5 years experience in cash office or retail finance roles
- Hypermarket/supermarket experience is an advantage
