Job Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for handling all cash and credit transactions at the Sales center. The role involves billing customers, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling daily transactions, and ensuring smooth and efficient cash operations in coordination with the accounts and Sales departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all customer payments for vehicle Sales parts.

Prepare and issue customer invoices and receipts accurately.

Verify and process cash, cheque, credit/debit card, and online transactions.

Maintain the daily cash register and reconcile cash at the end of each shift/day.

Deposit daily cash collections to the company’s bank account as per policy.

Maintain records of all financial transactions in the system.

Coordinate with the accounts department for payment updates and daily reports.

Respond to customer billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

Maintain confidentiality of all financial and customer data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field (preferred).

1–3 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in the automobile industry.

Knowledge of accounting and billing software (Tally)

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
