The role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service while maintaining precision in financial transactions using Point of Sale (POS) software.
Core Responsibilities
- POS Management: Accurately input customer orders into the POS system, ensuring correct item selection, pricing, and quantities.
- Payment Processing: Securely handle various payment types, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile/digital wallets.
- Financial Accuracy: Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, reconcile daily transactions, and report any discrepancies.
- Customer Service: Greet patrons warmly, provide knowledgeable product recommendations, and answer inquiries regarding ingredients and promotions.
- Outlet Assistance: Help package baked goods (e.g., boxing cakes or bagging bread), maintain a clean checkout area, and assist in restocking display shelves to ensure visual appeal.
- Operational Support: Support opening and closing duties, follow food safety and hygiene regulations, and collaborate with the baking team to ensure smooth service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- POS Proficiency: Prior experience or strong ability to operate modern POS systems and basic retail software.
- Numerical Skills: Ability to calculate change accurately and perform basic arithmetic quickly.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 years in a customer-facing retail or food service role is preferred.
- Personal Attributes: Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to commute to our outlet at Model Town, Multan is essential for this role.
