Responsibilities

• Receiving payment by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits
• Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
• Accepting customer returns and providing refunds as needed
• Answering customer questions about store policies and products
• Assisting customers with merchandise selection
• Balancing cash registers at the end of the day
• Maintaining cleanliness of the checkout area
• Running errands such as taking deposits to the bank

Qualifications

The qualified candidate should be honest and reliable with an eye for detail. We are willing to consider applicants from outside our country for this position.
