Cashier

Cashiers are the face of a restaurant. They manage all cash and sales transactions for the diner and store. They often answer questions about storefront, seat customers, take to-go orders, answer questions about the food, deliver the food to the table, and prep food and drink items in the front of the house. Cashiers are expected to have upbeat personalities. They are also expected to set and clear tables and keep the front of the house clean.

$7.25 / hour plus tips

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Food Handlers Certificate (Texas approved)
• Basic math and money skills
• Stamina
• Expect long, busy days on your feet
• Lift heavy objects up to 60 pounds
• Communication, customer service, and the ability to work well with others
• Able to adapt to our point-of-sale system
