Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions efficiently, and promoting products to enhance the shopping experience. This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for customers and ensuring smooth store operations.

We are especially looking for someone who will be able to reliably work Mon - Fri open to close!

Responsibilities

• Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment and inventory checks
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy
• Ensure the store environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming for customers

Requirements

• Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering in a retail or grocery store setting preferred
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
