Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier to join our vibrant retail team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, processes transactions efficiently, and ensures a positive customer experience. Your communication skills will help drive sales, promote products, and foster customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process customer transactions swiftly and securely
• Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and professional phone etiquette when assisting over the phone
• Handle cash handling duties with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Support store operations through basic retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory management

Requirements

• Previous cashiering experience is required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in sales are a plus
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory tasks
• Excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and a proactive attitude towards upselling and sales goals
