We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cashier to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist in food delivery and ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area,
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service role, requiered in a restaurant.
- Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant.
