Cashier

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cashier to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the culinary arts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Assist in food delivery and ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area,
• Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Support team members in various tasks as needed, fostering a cooperative work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service role, requiered in a restaurant.
• Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical stamina.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the restaurant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
