Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier over 21 years old, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this skill can enhance customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
• Process customer transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout and dinning area while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic retail math is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing the ability to serve diverse customer bases.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and a positive attitude towards teamwork is essential for success in this role.

We are paying $17 per hour plus tips.
