Responsibilities

• Take and serve drink orders accurately, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Wine POS and Toast with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Assist in serving food and beverages during busy hours, including catering, banquet events, or nightclub settings.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while balancing multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety.
• Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or banquets.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems for efficient cashiering and sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming environment.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and sales.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
