Responsibilities
- Take and serve drink orders accurately, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Wine POS and Toast with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Assist in serving food and beverages during busy hours, including catering, banquet events, or nightclub settings.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while balancing multiple responsibilities seamlessly.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety.
- Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or banquets.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems for efficient cashiering and sales processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming environment.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and sales.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
