Cashier

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment.

Duties:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Assist customers in locating products
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Process returns and exchanges
- Manage transactions with customers using credit/debit cards and cash
- Stock shelves and ensure the store is well-maintained

Experience:

The following skills and experience are preferred for this role:

- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in sales, especially jewelry or wireless sales, is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency, particularly in Spanish, is advantageous
- Proficient in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace
