Cashier

Shipley Do-nuts is now hiring Cashiers to join our restaurant team. As a part of the Crew you’ll be a part of a community that thrives on service- to each other, customers, and the community. We are hiring immediately and look forward to meeting with interested candidates.

Position: Full-Time, Cashier

Starting Pay: $10.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Strong Customer service, serve in a variety of different roles that can include being a cashier, maintaining our dining room or preparing our food.
• Greet guests with a genuine smile and warm and inviting spirit.
• Accepts payments form guests and makes change correctly.
• Explains menu and answer product questions for all guests.
• Prepares and serves our exceptional food.
• Maintains a clean and inviting restaurant.
• Bending, kneeling, standing and lifting (up to approximately 25 lbs. as necessary).

Qualifications:

• Ability to be flexible in all situations based on restaurant business need
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• General knowledge and understanding of the food service / restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not required
• Motivated individuals who are team players and committed to keeping our drive-in restaurants clean and safe.
