Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. This role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience from start to finish.

Duties

• Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to operate front end equipment; register, calculator, scanner.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to promote sales and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Utilize phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone when necessary.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and ensure accurate cash drawer management.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining the organization of merchandise on the sales floor.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service.

Skills

• Proficient in cash register operation and cash handling procedures.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a team setting.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash management.
