CASHIER

Job Summary:
The Store Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. They ensure accurate billing, maintain cash handling procedures, and support smooth front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders when required
• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change correctly
• Handle POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of transactions
• Ensure the cash counter area is clean and organized
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for order accuracy
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally
• Balance cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
• Follow company policies and hygiene standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in cashiering or customer service (restaurant experience preferred)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented

Working Conditions:

• Shift-based work (including weekends and holidays)

Preferred Skills:

• Multilingual ability (advantage in customer service)
• Knowledge of basic food safety standards

Pay: From QAR2,500.00 per month
