Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
• Process customer payments accurately using Toast point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Handle various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments
• Greet customers professionally and assist with menu inquiries
• Take and process food orders, including dine-in, take-out, and delivery
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station
• Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation
• Upselling to meet sales goals and introduce new menu items
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the restaurant.
• Assist in training new staff members on proper procedures, customer service techniques, and food preparation methods.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.
• Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication among staff.

Requirements

• Food Managers Card for Clay County /or Kansas City .
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Responsible and accountable work ethic
• proficiency in restaurant operations and customer service
• Basic math proficiency
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends. We are closed all Holidays and most days following.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

Schedule:

• Ability to work 8-hour shifts.
• Early morning and weekend shifts required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
