Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently
• Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed

• Support store operations by performing basic retail math calculations for transactions and inventory counts

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to connect with diverse customers effectively
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is advantage
• Ability to maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via digital communication
• Basic math skills are essential for accurately processing transactions and managing inventory counts
