Job Summary

Duties

• Operate POS systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments swiftly and securely
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information or demos
• Handle cash handling responsibilities with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as needed to ensure efficiency
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when taking orders or addressing customer inquiries remotely

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
• Experience in upselling, product demos, merchandising, stocking, and grocery store operations will set you apart
• Knowledge of phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role
