We’re excited to bring Mia’s Table to Sugar Land and are currently building our opening team ahead of our anticipated late June 2026 opening!

What You’ll Do:
As a Cashier at Mia’s Table, you’ll be one of the first faces our guests see. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring accurate and efficient service.

What You’ll Do:
As a Cashier at Mia’s Table, you’ll be one of the first faces our guests see. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring accurate and efficient service.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting guests with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality
- Taking guest orders accurately in person and over the phone
- Operating the POS system and processing cash and electronic payments
- Answering questions about menu items
- Upselling food, beverages, desserts, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked cashier station
- Assisting guests with concerns and communicating with Managers or Leads when needed
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Balancing and maintaining the cash drawer during each shift
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler and TABC Certifications required
- Restaurant experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important
