Duties

• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process sales accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with precision and integrity
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh products
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling products to enhance sales
• Manage stock levels through stocking and inventory checks to ensure product availability
• Uphold professional phone etiquette when taking orders or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or convenience store environments
• Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
• Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual abilities are highly valued
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures required
• Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
