Cashier and Food Prep Cook

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items quickly and efficiently. You will be expected to work quickly and accurately, all while maintaining a clean workspace and ensuring food safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness
  • Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, oven, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
  • Prepare sauces, dressings, and other components for dishes
  • Prep ingredients and set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to ensure all necessary ingredients are stocked
  • Communicate with waitstaff regarding customer orders and special requests
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Restock kitchen items as needed
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients and update food storage log

Requirements:

  • Experience with various cooking methods and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders at once
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment

Front of the House

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Restaurant Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions, manage cash and card payments, and ensure a positive customer experience. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our restaurant’s financial operations.

Responsibilities:

· Greet customers and provide a welcoming atmosphere.

· Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system.

· Balance the cash and credit transaction at the end of each shift, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly

· Assist with answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues.

· Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure seamless service, communicating effectively to resolve any issues that may arise

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring a positive customer impression

· Assist with basic inventory management and restocking as needed.

· Occasionally assist in the kitchen when needed

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.

· Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.

· Strong basic math skills.

· Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.

· Excellent customer service skills.

Education and Experience:
