Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and promote store products.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
• Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash management and customer service.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills is essential for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone when necessary.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus, aiding in inventory management and sales tracking.
• fluent in Spanish
