Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and speed.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and guiding them through product selections.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
• Assist with merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring the store remains inviting and organized.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures, including balancing registers at shift end and managing cash transactions securely.
• Use strong communication skills to handle phone inquiries professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
• Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and ensuring products are well-presented on the sales floor.

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership skills are a plus, especially in overseeing team members or assisting with training new staff.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to better serve diverse customer bases.
• Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, and basic cash handling procedures is essential for success in this role.
• Strong communication skills combined with a friendly attitude will help foster positive customer interactions and teamwork.
