**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

* Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner; provide exceptional customer service; and actively recommend specialty drinks or menu highlights.

* Efficiently operate the POS system (e.g., Toast) for order entry, billing, and cash handling management.

* Maintain a clean and organized bar area, strictly adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.

* Accurately and skillfully craft and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and high quality in every drink.

* Monitor guest behavior to ensure adherence to Responsible Serving Practices, particularly during banquets and special events.

* Accurately handle cash transactions, including cashiering duties and performing basic mathematical calculations for making change or totaling bills.

* Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and event coordinators during banquets and catered events to ensure seamless service flow.

* Assist with bar inventory management, including stocktaking, restocking, and ensuring the freshness of supplies.

* Responsible for daily supervisory duties within the restaurant, reporting directly to the General Manager.

**Requirements**

* Candidates with extensive experience as a Bartender in upscale restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet venues will be given priority consideration.

* Familiarity with POS operating systems (such as Toast) is required; prior experience in cash handling and cashiering duties is essential.

* Possess excellent time management skills and the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks during peak business hours. * Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a positive and professional manner.

* Demonstrate an understanding of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

* Possess the ability to perform accurate basic mathematical calculations to process sales transactions and handle related retail math.

* Prior work experience in the food and beverage, hospitality, brewing, catering, or retail sectors is preferred.

* Must be at least 18 years of age; depending on the specific venue's operating hours, the ability to accommodate night shifts may be required.
