Cashier- Bradley Fair

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Part Time Closing Cashier to join our team at GreenAcres, Bradley Fair. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthy living, sustainability, and providing excellent customer service. As a cashier, you will be the final point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience while accurately processing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming checkout experience
• Accurately scan and process purchases using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments responsibly
• Answer customer questions about products, including organic and locally sourced items
• Assist with bagging groceries while following proper handling of fresh and delicate items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area
• Verify product codes for bulk items and produce
• Support store operations by restocking shelves or assisting other departments as needed
• Follow all store policies, including those related to food safety and sustainability practices

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Interest in organic food, health, and environmentally conscious products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude

Physical Requirements:
