As a Cashier and Line Cook at Fox’s Pizza Den, you will play a vital role in maintaining day-to-day operations and ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers and staff. This position is best suited for an organized, motivated leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

‘The cook's primary job function is to assemble and cook pizzas and other menu items,
‘and perform prep according to Fox's Pizza Den standards,

Duties and Responsibilities:
‘+ Assume 100% responsibilty for qualty of products served.

‘+ Know and comply consistently with our cooking methods, quality standards, and
kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.

Responsible for prepping ingredients for menu items in a neat, accurate, and
timely way.

Follow prep recipes and ensure the quality and consistency of every batch recipe
that goes from the prep kitchen to the proper workstation on the line.

Ensure walk-in cooler i fully stocked.
Follow prep list and prep items accordingly and within alloted time frame.
Follow health, sanitation, cleanliness, and organization standards without falter.

‘Stock and maintain sulficient levels of food products at station to ensure a smooth
service period.

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation area,
Safely operate all equipment.

Prope distrbute toppings using proper portions.

Follow pizza-topping guidelines.

Read and understand tickets and maintain order.

Identify and correct poorly prepared or wrongly prepared pizzas prior to delivering
them to customers.

‘Monitor equipment (prep table, refrigeration, oven temperature); report any issues
immediately

Clean and maintain the oven throughout the shift
Maintain the cleanliness ofthe kitchen,

‘Complete job lists and cleaning schedules.
Practice teamwork by helping co-workers.
Handle, store, and rotate products properly.

Keep calm in pressure situations.

Maintain professionalism
+ Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
+ Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
+Food handlers card
+ Is able to work ina standing postion for long periods of time.

‘+ Is able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lit up to 50 pounds,

Customer Experience

  • Ensure every guest is welcomed and served promptly and courteously
  • Respond calmly and professionally to customer concerns or complaints
  • Observe and evaluate service delivery; identify and address any breakdowns in service flow

Product Quality Assurance

  • Oversee product preparation and ensure all food meets Fox’s Pizza Den standards
  • Enforce consistent recipe usage and presentation quality
  • Lead by example in food handling and preparation

Cost & Inventory Control

  • Monitor labor and food costs to ensure they remain within target margins
  • Reduce waste and promote efficient labor practices
  • Order, receive, rotate, and store inventory using FIFO principles
  • Complete prep lists and maintain accurate inventory records

Operations & Maintenance

  • Manage cash handling procedures, register balancing, and daily financial reporting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety codes
  • Oversee the restaurant's cleanliness and hygiene, addressing any maintenance or pest control needs

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, health codes, and food safety regulations
  • Report to upper management on employee performance, customer feedback, maintenance issues, and supply needs
  • Provide insight and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in restaurant or food service management preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labor management
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and capable of working independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
