We are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Cashier / Cook / Prep. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service at the cash register using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and processing sales with efficiency.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and equipment, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and stocking supplies to support kitchen operations.
• Support food industry standards by practicing proper food handling techniques and maintaining a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Engage in upselling opportunities by recommending menu items or add-ons to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as cafes, quick service restaurants, or retail food outlets is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with good time management skills.
• Basic kitchen experience including food prep, bussing, or serving is highly desirable; retail math skills are beneficial too. Join our team where your energy fuels our success!
