Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist with merchandising by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and visually appealing
• Conduct product demos when appropriate to showcase features and benefits to customers
• Manage stocking duties by replenishing shelves and maintaining inventory levels throughout the store
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform basic math calculations for transactions with precision
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or in person
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales
• Support grocery store operations by ensuring cleanliness, safety standards, and proper signage are maintained
• Assist in supervising team members when required, providing guidance on customer service best practices

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is highly desirable
• Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Demonstrated supervisory experience or leadership qualities are advantageous for team support roles
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal interaction, are essential
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos will help you excel in this role
• Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and retail math calculations

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
