Primary Objectives of Position:
Support the cooperative’s mission by providing exceptional customer service, promoting products and maintaining a clean and efficient store environment. Contribute to a positive team culture while meeting sales and operational goals.
Responsibilities of the Position:

Support the manager in meeting monthly sales targets.

Promote, sell and distribute store products to enhance operational efficiency.

Maintain product inventory, including receiving and stocking deliveries and supplies.

Operate point-of-sale systems and handle cash transactions accurately.

Provide friendly and professional customer service including addressing concerns.

Ensure the store, equipment and facilities are clean, safe and properly maintained.

Prepare food items consistently according to portion, quality and presentation standards.

Follow all cooperative, state and federal policies and procedures.

Attend required safety and food handling training.

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines as required by cooperative, state and federal regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

Basic cash handling skills and the ability to operate a register.

Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Be comfortable receiving and implementing feedback

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods and performing tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing and handling materials.

Good finger and wrist dexterity for food prep and register operation.
