Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be responsible for Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing the POS system, preparing and serving hot food items, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café or food truck environment.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences
• Prepare and serve hot food items such as breakfast sandwiches, and café-style meals using proper equipment and cooking techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations, equipment, utensils, and seating areas
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory and restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, food items, and other café supplies as needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and product quality
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during peak hours.
• Since it's a food truck, it should go to different places depending on the service the food truck offers.

Job description

A food truck cashier acts as the primary customer service representative, responsible for greeting customers, taking orders via a point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and card payments accurately, and managing the service window. They maintain a clean workspace, communicate orders to the kitchen, and often handle packaging or assembling food items.
