We are looking for our next INDAY Hospitality lead whose mission is to make regulars feel like family and first-timers want to become regulars!
As a Hospitality Lead you are much more than a cashier! You will guide our customers through our menu and help them in ordering their next favorite meal. In this role, you would have deep knowledge about our food and products, love to interact with and build connections with our customers, and be obsessed with creating opportunities to surprise and delight guests. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Customer Service & Hospitality
- Provide exceptional hospitality to every guest
- Know the INDAY menu in and out, and help guests with questions or recommendations
- Greet guests, take orders, and support service flow as needed
- Ring orders accurately in the POS system and collect payments
- Follow proper cash handling procedures and assist with making change when needed
FOH and Station Support
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation at the start and end of each shift
- Stock cashier and service stations with necessary supplies
- Change trash, wipe tables and counters, and make sure the dining room looks its best
- Support daily setup tasks, including displays and music
- Bottle INDAY beverages and prepare hot drinks
- Complete side work and cleaning tasks according to INDAY standards
Teamwork and Communication
- Support teammates across stations to keep service running smoothly
- Communicate questions, issues, or ideas to the Manager on Duty
- Participate in training and help support new team members
- Work collaboratively to create a positive and respectful team environment
Compliance & Professionalism
- Follow all sanitation, food safety, and company policies
- Clock in and out correctly and follow scheduling guidelines
- Maintain proper uniform and grooming standards
- Attend required meetings and training sessions
- Maintain a positive, good karma attitude at all times
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by leaders
WHO YOU ARE
- 1+ year experience in a fast casual, quick service, or similar high volume concept
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods (standing, walking, bending)
- Comfortable working 6–8 hour shifts
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Friendly, positive, and respectful attitude toward guests and teammates
- Professional appearance and adherence to INDAY uniform and grooming standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with noise, movement, and temperature changes
- Able to stay calm, focused, and professional during busy or stressful periods
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual, with accurate clock-in and clock-out practices
- Willing to attend required meetings and training sessions
- Adherence to all company policies and local health and sanitation regulations
